Terms of Use
Terms of participation and disclaimer of liability – the "Run710" project
This is a translation provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the Hebrew version of these terms prevails.
The nature of the project and local organizing
- These terms are in effect in continuation of the guidelines published on the project's website (run710.co.il) and serve to expand and clarify those guidelines.
- The "Run710" project is a civilian initiative, entirely volunteer-run and nonprofit. Participation in the project and in the various gatherings involves no payment or cost to participants.
- The running and walking gatherings held across the country are local, decentralized meetings coordinated by local coordinators. The project's central team operates the digital platform and provides general information and materials. The project may perform a technical or administrative review of the submitted details before a gathering is published, but this review does not constitute a review or approval of the route, terrain conditions, safety, licensing, or the gathering's compliance with legal requirements. The local meeting coordinator chooses and coordinates the meeting point and route, is required to follow the safety guidelines, and must check whether approval or coordination is required from a competent authority. Each participant chooses to join a gathering of their own free will and subject to the terms of these Terms.
- The local meeting coordinator acts independently to coordinate the local gathering and is not an employee, agent, or representative of the project and is not authorized to bind the project. The coordinator must choose a suitable route, follow the safety guidelines, and check in advance whether any approvals, licenses, or coordination are required for the gathering to take place.
- The coordinator undertakes to provide the project with accurate and correct information and to act in accordance with their obligations under these Terms. To the extent permitted by law, the coordinator will indemnify the project for damage or expense incurred by the project as a direct result of knowingly providing materially false information, a material breach of the coordinator's obligations under these Terms, or holding the gathering in violation of an explicit instruction from a competent authority.
- For a gathering with a significant number of participants, and in particular where 50 or more participants are expected, the meeting coordinator must check in advance with the local authority and/or Israel Police regarding the need for approval, a license, or coordination. Requirements may vary depending on location, the nature of the activity, and the number of participants. Where approval is required by law or by a competent authority's requirement, the gathering must not be held without obtaining it.
Publishing a gathering on the Run710 platform does not constitute confirmation by the project that the gathering is exempt from licensing or complies with all legal requirements.
Personal responsibility and medical fitness
- Participation in a gathering is voluntary. Every participant is responsible for exercising judgment appropriate to their personal ability, road conditions, weather, lighting, and surroundings, and for acting in accordance with the safety guidelines and traffic laws.
- Every participant should consider their state of health, physical fitness, and personal level before participating. By registering for the project, the participant declares that, to the best of their knowledge, their state of health allows them to take part in the activity and that they will participate according to their personal ability.
- The participant is aware that this is a running or walking activity in a public space, in the evening, and that the gathering routes are not closed or sterile competition courses. During the activity there may be pedestrians, cyclists, vehicles at crossings and intersections, road hazards, and changing lighting conditions, and the participant must act with caution and in accordance with actual conditions.
Participation by minors
- Independent registration for the project is open from age 14. Children under 14 are welcome to take part accompanied by a registered parent or guardian, without a separate registration, and under that adult's full responsibility.
- A registrant who will not have turned 18 by the day of the run (October 7, 2026) must provide, in the registration form, the name and phone number of their parent or guardian, and obtain that person's explicit consent to participate. A minor's registration without such consent is not approved, and the project may cancel it.
- By ticking the parent/guardian consent box in the registration form, the parent or guardian declares that they have read the terms and the safety guidelines, that they approve the minor's participation, and that they understand this is an independent run or walk in a public space in the evening. This declaration is stored together with the time the consent was given.
- A minor will take part in the activity accompanied by a parent, guardian, or another responsible adult on their behalf, throughout the activity. Responsibility for supervising the minor during the activity lies solely with the parent or guardian, and not with the project or the local meeting coordinator.
- The local meeting coordinator must be over 18 and declares this when opening the gathering. Neither the parent's consent nor the minor's participation imposes on the coordinator any responsibility for supervising minors.
- Providing an incorrect date of birth, or ticking the parent/guardian consent box by someone who is not the registrant's parent or guardian, constitutes a breach of these Terms. The project relies on the details provided in the registration form and does not carry out independent age verification.
Safety guidelines (running in the evening)
- Gatherings should be held on routes suitable for running or walking in the evening, with reasonable lighting along the route. If actual lighting conditions do not allow for safe activity, the route should be changed or activity on that section should be discontinued.
- Under Run710's standard model, running on open roads and independent road closures are not permitted. Any activity involving the use of a road, blocking a road, or changing traffic arrangements requires advance review and obtaining all required approval from the competent authorities.
- During dark hours it is strongly recommended to use high-visibility clothing, reflective items, and/or suitable personal lighting, depending on route conditions.
- The project does not provide participants with personal accident insurance. Each participant may independently check the insurance coverage available to them.
Nothing in these Terms derogates from liability that cannot be contracted out of or waived under law.
