General

The "Run710" project is a civilian, entirely volunteer-run, nonprofit initiative. We respect the privacy of the site's users, and this policy explains what data is collected when using the site, for what purposes it is used, and how you can contact us about it, in accordance with the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981 (including Amendment 13 to the law).

What data is collected

• When registering to participate in the run: full name, phone number, and email address.
• When opening a running group: the group leader's name, phone, email, and the meeting details you provide (city, meeting point, route, etc.).
• Site usage data: anonymous statistical data about site usage, collected via Google Analytics (see the cookies section below).

What the information is used for

• Coordinating participation in the run and updating participants on important details ahead of the event.
• Producing a personal bib bearing a name in memory of those murdered and fallen on October 7.
• Approving and publishing new running groups on the site.
• Understanding how the site is used in order to improve it.

The information is not used for third-party marketing purposes, and is not sold or transferred to commercial entities. The project does not engage in fundraising and does not collect any payment details.

Cookies

The site uses technical cookies required for its proper functioning, and Google Analytics analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used and improve it. You can block or delete cookies at any time via your browser settings, though some features of the site may not function properly as a result.

Data security and retention

The information collected is stored in secure databases and transferred using reasonable and accepted means to protect it from unauthorized access. Access to the information is limited to project personnel who need it solely for operating the site and the event.

Your rights

In accordance with the Privacy Protection Law, any person whose information is held in a database may contact us and request to review the information held about them, and request its correction or deletion, subject to the provisions of the law.
